heavy metal

Few forms of music elicit such strong reactions as does heavy metal. Embraced by millions of fans, it has also attracted a chorus of critics, who have denounced it as a corrupter of youth—even blamed it for tragedies like the murders at Columbine. Deena Weinstein argues that these fears stem from a deep misunderstanding of the energetic, rebellious culture of metal, which she analyzes, explains, and defends. She interprets all aspects of the metal world—the music and its makers, its fans, its dress code, its lyrics—and in the process unravels the myths, misconceptions, and truths about an irreverent subculture that has endured and evolved for twenty years.

death metal

Death Metal is among the most despised forms of violently themed entertainment. Many politicians, conservative groups and typical Americans attribute youth violence and the destruction of social values to such entertainment. The usual assumptions about the Death Metal scene and its fans have rarely been challenged.

This book investigates the demographic trends, attitudes, philosophical beliefs, ethical systems, and behavioral patterns within the scene, seeking to situate Death Metal in the larger social order. The Death Metal community proves to be a useful microcosm for much of American subculture and lends insight into the psychological and social functions of many forbidden or illicit entertainment forms. The author's analysis, rich in interviews with rock stars, radio hosts, and average adolescent fans, provides a key to comprehending deviant tendencies in modern American culture.

STUCK IN A MOMENT

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not afraid Of anything in this world. There's nothing you can throw at me.That I haven't already heard,I'm just trying to find a decent melody ,a song that I can sing In my own company.I never thought you were a fool,But darling look at you.

You gotta stand up straight carry your own weight. These tears are going nowhere baby. You've got to get yourself together, you've got stuck in a moment and now you can't get out of it.Don't say that later will be better

I will not forsake the colors that you bring the nights you filled with fireworks. They left you with nothing,i am still enchanted By the light you brought to me ,i listen through your ears.Through your eyes I can see And you are such a fool to worry like you do ,i know it's tough and you can never get enough.I was unconscious, half asleep. The water is warm 'til you discover how deep ,i wasn't jumping, for me it was a fall. It's a long way down to nothing at

Fields of Despair

Can you feel the pain inside sometimes in my mind? In the land of lonelyness the seas of blood run cold. Is the feeling lost inside within the sins of all mankind? Time after time we stood united on we go.
Fly far away don't let the world pass you by,Live for the day when we must stand and survive. Now we face the judgement day our souls will feel the pain
Hear the screams of my world through the rain.
Silent fields of despair my tears in the rain. Pain in my heart bleeding through
One day we'll be back for one moment in time
Endless searching for you...
Who can cure my emptyness inside for this time?Suffering from lonelyness my dreams and hopes will die. No more feelings left inside my blackened heart I can not hide. Time afer time our souls divided on we cry.
Fly far away don't leave your own past behind.Live for the day another year passes by,Now we turn to face our fear there's nothing more to say
Still your dreams and my nightmares remain.
Silent fields of despair my tears in the rain...

Ode To My Family

Understand the things I say
Don't turn away from me
'Cause I've spent half my life out there
You wouldn't disagree

Do you see me? Do you see?
Do you like me? Do you like me standing there?
Do you notice? Do you know?
Do you see me? Do you see me?
Does anyone care?

Unhappiness was when I was young
We didn't give a damn
'Cause we were raised
To see life as fine
Take it if we can

My mother, my ma
She hold me, she hold me
When I was out there
My father, my father
He liked me, oh he liked me,
Does anyone care?

Understand what I've become
It wasn't my design
And people everywhere
They sob, think better than I am

But I miss you, I miss --
'Cause I liked it,
'Cause I liked it when I was out there
Do you notice? Do you know you did bad by me,
You did bad by --
Does anyone care?

trees

TREES

A Tree is a tall, woody plant.

The big part in the middle is called the trunk and the “arms” are called branches. There are two types of trees based on the shape of the leaves. Some trees have long, thin leaves that are shaped like needles.

This group includes pine trees and spruce trees. Other trees have broad, flat leaves. This group includes oak trees and maple trees.

The largest living thing on the earth today is a tree in california. It has a trunk which is approximately ten meters wide.

Tree shaded gardens become more shaded with time. As trees grow taller and wider they cast larger shadows and less light will penetrate the increasingly dense shade. The quickest way to admit more light is by removing lower tree limbs thus raising the height of the shade. This will decrease humidity and allow some filtered light to reach understory plantings especially in the morning and afternoon.

Canopy thinning involves selectively removing trees limbs. This could involve removing a few, large limbs or many, small limbs throughout the tree. The results is a less dense shade or even perhaps a dappled sun-shade situation. Thinning is not a one time procedure; it will need to be repeated as trees grow. The same process can be used on large shade-casting shrubs. Some shrubs can be pruned into a tree form thus allowing more light to plants growing near their base.

RAIN

Rain always comes from clouds. But where do clous comes from? How does all the water get into sky? Think about your bathroom. There is hot water in your bath. Steam goes up from the hot water. The steam makes small clouds in the bathroom. These warm clouds meet the cold walls and windows. Then we see small drops of water on the wals and windows.
The worlds is like your bathroom. The water in the oceans is warm when the sun shines on it. Some of this water goes up in to the sky and makes clouds. The wind carries the clouds for hundreds of kilometers. The clouds meet the cold air in the sky. Then we’ll she drops of water after the condensation of clouds to water. The drops of water are rain.
The Rain falls and runs into rivers. Rivers run into oceans. And the water from the oceans chages in to clouds and becomes rain. So water is always moving from oceans to clouds to rain to rivers to oceans
